MEET OUR TEAM
AMANDA KRUZICH Co-Chair, Bubbles & Brunch Committee Director, A.J. Kruzich Consulting Amanda has been a LGFB volunteer since 2005 when she joined the Mirror Ball auction committee. She is thrilled to be Chairing the 4HER Committee for Look Good Feel Better.
A 19-year veteran of the cosmetics industry, Amanda has worked for international beauty brands in Canada, the U.S. and the UK. In 2010, she started A.J. Kruzich Consulting, a boutique branding and marketing consultancy, providing expert services to beauty, fashion, non-for-profit and B2B companies. |
LEAH THELEN Co-Chair, Bubbles & Brunch Committee A 1st year volunteer with LGFB, Leah Thelen is a digital leadership executive with 15+ years of Beauty industry experience. Like many of us, Leah and her family have been personally impacted by Cancer. Seven years ago, she lost her lifelong friend and mother of three girls to the disease. She is honored to lend her time and expertise to help drive awareness and gain support for LGFB’s mission.

AIDA TAHIRI Global Director Finance and Business Analysis, Apotex Inc Aida has over 20 years of experience working in the Accounting / Finance sector holding progressive roles. During her years of experience Aida has led and managed Accounting and Finance Teams, Information Technology, Administration functions, Human Resources and Recruitment, Business Operations and Development.
Aida is passionate about giving back to community and leading initiatives that support women’s causes and the underprivileged in our society. Aida is a founding member of Women in Leadership team at Apotex and has been actively driving various initiatives. |
ASHLEY DE FILIPPIS Brand & Marketing Consultant Ashley is a brand & marketing consultant with over 15 years of beauty industry experience working with a variety of global brands. As an advocate for holistic beauty, Ashley is absolutely thrilled and honoured to be a part of the Committee in support of Look Good Feel Better’s cause and mission.

FARRAH LADAK Senior National Account Manager, Benefit Cosmetics Farrah is a Senior National Account Manager for the global beauty power house brand Benefit Cosmetics. She draws on over a decade of experience in the Beauty and Fashion industry to get her consumers excited about what she is excited about! Her passion for anything that makes a gal sparkle can be traced back to her elementary days where she would secretly put on her mom’s lipstick at school!
Farrah joined the LGFB committee in 2014 as part of the Mirror Ball committee to help make an impact on her community. She is excited to be a part of the 4Her committee as a cause that helps women feel good & have fun, because that is when they are the most beautiful. |
LAURA COYNE Undergraduate Student Queens University Laura is in her third year at Queen's University studying History and Political Studies. She has always had a passion and motivation to help others. Many years of volunteering with the Girl Guides of Canada led to her involvement with various clubs on campus and at school in support of education, environmental responsibility, gender equality and global treatment of women. Laura is honoured to be a part of the 4Her committee. She is inspired by her mother's experience attending workshops, speaking always about the value of hope and the importance of Look Good Feel Better for all women and girls.

MARIA WELLS Senior Business Development Manager, BDC Maria is a Senior Business Development Manager at BDC with a passion for tech businesses. After learning more about the mission and incredible work that LGFB is doing, she joined Committee in 2018 to put her extensive experience in finance, sales and fundraising to good use for a great cause. Maria spends her days helping innovative and ambitious tech entrepreneurs to achieve their dreams, and is honoured to contribute her skills alongside amazing team members to help make further impact in her community with LGFB.

MELANIE LI Market Analytics and Finance The Estée Lauder Companies Inc Melanie is a part of the Estee Lauder Companies' Canadian Affiliate team where she works with many of the leading brands in prestige beauty on strategy, market analytics and consumer insights. Prior to ELC, Melanie helped to establish and grow the Canadian beauty practice at The NPD Group, a market research and analytics company with expertise in retail and consumer insights.
Melanie volunteers her time to the Committee in memory of her mom Sophie. 
RACHEL BANKS Client Partner, Dentsu Performance Rachel, a new member of the LGFB team, is super excited to help make a valuable difference to women in the community. Originally from the UK, Rachel is a Senior Digital Media Executive and works closely with her clients to solve business problems in a strategic, innovative and performance driven way. As Client Partner at Dentsu Performance, Rachel spends her day leading a large team who are responsible for the digital advertising of many household brands; Shiseido, Coca Cola, Mastercard, IKEA, Lindt, Subway and Pandora.

NISIDE ALOI CEO, Naloi Media Group After a decade of applying her expertise to both agency and in-house public relations and social media marketing campaigns, Niside founded Naloi Media Group in order to interact with the market and her clients in the most holistic way possible. With a wealth of expertise, Niside is a natural problem solver who enjoys a challenge, having spearheaded campaigns for some of the world’s leading brands. She enjoys participating in mentorship programs for aspiring entrepreneurs and marketing professionals, as well as using her vocational savvy while serving on the Committee for Look Good Feel Better, a Toronto-based organization that supports youth undergoing cancer treatment.
REBECCA MEESTERS (RAM) Senior Manager, Public Sector and Not-for-Profit Group CIBC Commercial Banking Rebecca Ram works at CIBC in Commercial Banking with a focus on the public sector and not for profit industries and is committed to this sector both personally and professionally. She has spent 9 years in the banking industry working with clients to create innovative and value added solutions to help them achieve their goals. Rebecca was drawn to LGFB because one of her university roommates, Deanna DiClemente, was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia (AML) at the young age of 20 and while she did not survive, her legacy lives on and her memory has inspired Rebecca to continue to find ways to give back and help others in situations similar to Dee. When Rebecca is not working with clients or volunteering, she can be found playing sports, playing with her dog or planning a new adventure!

RYAN KRIESER President, Evolution XM Ryan Krieser has been in the event and production industry for over 17 years. He blends his passion for events and production with his career in experiential marketing to conceptualize and execute unique and exciting experiences for brands across Canada. He most recently integrated his creative side with his extensive experience to start his own experiential marketing agency, Evolution XM. Ryan has been active in planning, executing and producing both charity and corporate events ranging in size from 100 to 4000 guests. He has also had the pleasure of working with some of the best talent from Ed Sheeran to Hedley. Ryan is very excited to be a part of the LGFB team.
NATALIE MARTYSIEWICZ Community and Marketing Manager, Yelp GTA Natalie is a new member of the Bubbles & Brunch committee and is excited to help make a difference in any way she can. Through her role at Yelp, Natalie works to build the Greater Toronto Area Yelp Community by connecting people to great local businesses. She manages Yelp's most active users, the Yelp Elite Squad, and works to promote community events and organizations through creative marketing and social media strategy. Natalie is thrilled to have joined the LGFB team and can't wait to raise a glass and funds for this wonderful cause.

SAMANTHA TORNATORE Brand Marketing Assistant, Burt's Bees Samantha Tornatore is a passionate marketer with experience in the health & beauty industry. As a Brand Marketing Assistant for Burt’s Bees, she works to create content, analyze data, support retailers and ensure the story as a brand is being heard and understood by customers. Being a new graduate, Samantha is constantly exploring ways to learn from and connect with people each and every day. The opportunity to become a part of the committee is one she was honored to receive. Samantha is excited to support Look Good Feel Better in any way she can.
